Jean du Cros (died 21 November 1383) was a cardinal of the Catholic Church. He was bishop of Limoges in France (1347–1371).
He was made cardinal-priest of SS. Nereo e Achilleo on 30 May 1371[1] by his uncle, Pope Gregory XI. Then, he became grand penitentiary (1373) and cardinal-bishop of Palestrina (28 September 1376). Initially, he supported the election of Pope Urban VI in April 1378, but shortly thereafter, he adhered to the obedience of Antipope Clement VII and served as his legate in France. He died in Avignon.[1]
